What would be a reason, perhaps not the only reason but a significant one, to delay having a Supreme Court confirmation process happen before an election?
Besides wanting to have their left-leaning nominee instead of a constitutionalist long-term, would they want to knowingly have a 6 person supreme court going into an election? Looking at what is likely to be some degree of voter fraud, there is a good chance this will go to the Supreme Court.
